ADVANCE RESERVATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED Capacity is limited to 49 passengers. Cruises do sell out. We recommend you purchase your tickets in advance. (Walk-up tickets are sold, space permitting. Ask the cashier when you arrive.) The U.S. Coast Guard sets limits for number of passengers on board.
The Norwalk Seaport Association and Yoga Instructor Amanda Boe invite you to join us for a relaxing morning of yoga surrounded by the historic Sheffield Island Lighthouse and beautiful Long Island Sound. Begin with a soothing morning ferry ride out to the Island followed by one hour of renewed kindness to ones self through yoga. Amandas classes are designed to stretch and slowly warm the body up, gradually working toward a fairly vigorous flow (modifications are offered based on ability)
Receiving her YTT certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Amanda has been a student of many teachers from around the globe. Believing that yoga is a great equalizer, Amanda Boe's joy in teaching offers balance in a hectic world. This practice truly promotes wellness and peace.
The class is open to all skill levels and anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful ferry ride to the island followed by an hour of exploration into ones heart and soul through yoga.
Fresh Whole Fruit and water will be provided.

Note: - Sheffield Island is a rocky outcrop with rolling terrain and the docking facilities do not meet ADA regulations. Every effort has been made to minimize non-compliance. The gangway leading from the dock to the island is wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair. The gangway incline (steepness) is determined by the height of the tide; at low tide it is steeper than at high tide. Due to liability concerns, the Sheffield Island staff is disallowed to assist with lifting or pushing a wheelchair or stroller. It will be important for the physically challenged to travel with a companion able to assist them.
-Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes with a closed heal or back strap to keep the shoes on the feet. Flip-flops are not allowed due to safety concerns.
Your boat leaves from the Sheffield Island Lighthouse dock located at the corner of North Water Street and Washington Street in Historic South Norwalk. Parking is available adjacent to the dock and the Norwalk Maritime Center Garage.
When making reservations, leave contact information that will be available for day of trip. We may need to contact you if there is a change due to weather conditions.
Ticketing fees applied to all reservations.
