A Serious Day of Fun And Play
This beginner's day-long workshop will look at how the art of clown can be an incredibly useful tool to have more fun on stage, and most importantly, with the audience.
Too often as performers, we are not fully aware of what our audiences wants and needs. Are they truly enjoying what I'm doing? Am I truly enjoying what I'm doing? Are we all having fun?
Throughout the day we will explore how being bad on stage isn't always a bad thing, and how this can actually enable us to take our audience on a journey to even sillier heights. We'll look at how being vulnerable as performers can open us up to being playful and having more fun.
You need no prior performance or comedy experience. However, the day will also be useful to performers who have always wanted to give clown a go. Conor's improv background makes this the perfect beginners workshop for improvisers looking to break through the fourth wall and connect with their audience more.

His group The RH Experience were dubbed "the masters of tomfoolery" and have received praise for their fast-paced, high energy and very silly performances. They have performed at Edinburgh and Brighton Fringes, and have featured on BBC Radio4 and E4. They are performing for 2 nights at Soho Theatre in April.
