Intro to Microbiology of Brewing
The instructor holds an M.S. in Microbiology, and has over 30 years' laboratory experience. Having established and conducted Quality Assurance testing for nine years at Boulevard, the instructor will explain techniques for identifying beer-spoiling bacteria and yeast viability. We'll use a microscope, and participants will take home two types of agar for checking beers for contamination at home.
