Mary Sojourner Book Talk
Meet the Writer - Mary Sojourner, national author of Torrey House Press 2017 release, The Talker: Short Stories, a featured book in the Pima County Librarys Southwest Books of the Year, 2017.
Please join us April 12, 2018 at the lovely home of generous supporters of the Pima Library
Foundation to meet author, activist, NPR commentator, and international writing mentor, Mary Sojourner. Her writing and her activism have emerged from the Southwestern deserts, cities and rural towns she came to in 1985.
Enjoy libations, savories and sweets while taking part in a thought-provoking conversation with Mary.
Sojourners other books include: the novels 29, Going Through Ghosts and Sisters of the Dream; short story collection, Delicate; two memoirs, Solace: Rituals of Loss and Desire and She Bets Her Life; and essay collection, Bonelight: Ruin and Grace in the New Southwest.
Marys books will be available for purchase from a local independent bookseller.
