Join the Victoria Poetry Project for our workshop with our 2018 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Representative, Pamela Stewart!

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This workshop will focus on writing; folks with all levels of experience with spoken word poetry are welcome to attend. This workshop is designed for adults, however, we recognize that teenaged folks are part of our community, so teens ages 14 and up are welcome to attend if they feel they can handle mature adult content.

15 seats are available for purchase ahead of time and we will be offering limited tickets at the door - guarantee your seat and get your ticket now!
12 of the online tickets are being offered at the regular rate of $10 and the remaining 3 are being offered at the benefactor rate of $20 to subsidize folks who want to attend but can't afford it.
If you would like a subsidized ticket, please contact VPP's Executive Director, Shayli Robinson, at vppdirector@gmail.com.

ABOUT PAMELA:
Pam Stewart began her artistic development through the process of journalling which in time lead her to spoken word.  Through performance poetry, she's found her voice as a performer, writer, facilitator and event producer.  She is affectionately known as The Riot Grrrl Burlesque Revue's 'Poet in Residence.'  She is the producer of the Victoria spoken word festival, Slam by the Sea, her essays on growth and personal development have been published on the mindfulness journal Elephant Journal, and she is a four-time Canadian Festival of Spoken Word competitor.  She is a facilitator of workshops that focus on using writing and stillness to find one's voice.

ABOUT THE VENUE:
CityStudio is located on the ground level of Johnson St next to the Johnson St parkade. It has washrooms and a small kitchen, including a small refrigerator. The entrance is a standard single door.
