Producer and bassist Scott Petito assembles a world class ensemble of the regions most well-respected musicians to interpret the timeless music of Joni Mitchell, perhaps best known for Both Sides Now and Big Yellow Taxi. Considered 1960s and 1970s folk royalty, the Canadian-born artist won her first of eight Grammys for Clouds (1969). In 21 albums (excluding compilations), Mitchell displays a limitless talent for wry and pointed lyrics, and largely self-invented musical chords, a kind of calligraphy of moods.
