Sounds Like Grief
What is the sound of grief? April thought that training to be a hospital chaplain would be about comforting others in their pain, not about facing her own. Weaving together stories from the patients she encountered, her prior life as a professional harpist, and the ending of her 15-year mixed-orientation marriage, this is one persons story of learning how to listen.
