Join this fierce cast of female dancers to process what is often challenging to consider alone: the current state of our nation.

1.1.17 is based on that date and the feeling of dread that many of us had before anything happened.  This work serves as an embodied physical timeline from then to now, which articulates our side of the conversation on issues like: the definition of a bona fide relationship, the national cultural appropriation of the black vote, Trumps defense of the Alt-right, and Pences blatant attack on Planned Parenthood. You know, the light stuff. We hope that 1.1.17 can be the beginning of a larger conversation with you, our community.
