Collected Stories
The acclaimed short story writer Ruth Steiner invites a promising student named Lisa Morrison to her Manhattan apartment to discuss her work. Lisa becomes Ruth's protege and personal assistant; and as Lisa's star rises, Ruth begins to wonder what that means for her own future.
We're doing something new with this play: we''ll be staging the play, which is set in Ruth Steiner's living room, in an actual living room here in Hyde Park. We know this will make for a very vivid, intimate and exciting theatrical experience.
Because our venue is a private home, its location is not for general publication. When you buy your tickets, your confirmation e-mail will have the details of your purchase, the location of the play, and other logistical details.
(Please note: our host family does have a dog, but the dog will not be attending performances.)
**Join us after the matinee on Sunday, 3/04, for a discussion of the play with the cast and a few Hyde Park authors!**
