You're welcome to stay until 4:00pm to enjoy the grounds, participate in optional activities, or simply savor the solitude. The planned program will end at 2:00 pm.

PROGRAM:
Women at the Well: Building Community

Inspired by the story of the Samaritan woman's encounter with Jesus, the well is a symbolic place where we too can experience Jesus' radical, unconditional welcome-no matter who we are or what season of life we're in. It's a place where we all belong and what we bring is enough, no perfection necessary. It's a place where God empowers us to go bravely into the world knowing our worth, entrusting us to share the good news with others!

The well is place where we can build this kind of community. Come, gather with us for a day of reflection and inspiration at beautiful IslandWood. The program will include dynamic presentations as well as opportunities for elective participation in activities and conversation reflective of the theme. There's something for everyone, including space for quiet time and solitude.

This year's facilitator is Erin Grayson, a Certified Candidate for ordained ministry in the Presbyterian Church, USA and graduate of Yale Divinity School. Erin is wife to Tony, and mom to Aiden, Corinne, and Caleb. Pastorally, she is committed to building up and inspiring community to live according to Jesus' greatest commandment to love God and neighbor with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Erin is a founding member of Justice Revival, a Christian movement for human rights (www.justicerevival.org), and a writer who reflects on finding God along life's journeys-even in the wilderness.
