Teen Acting Class

Artistic Director and actor, Jeffrey Baumgartner, along with actor and instructor Tito Sanchez-Williams (graduate of the New School of Drama in NYC with a Master or Fine Arts in Acting) teach this basic to advanced acting conservatory style lessons to teens who want to learn techniques for stage. Students will learn the 5 levels of vocal projection, including diction and vocal production, explore stage combat, mime, body movement and more. Students will engage in various theatre games designed to impart proven techniques used by today's stage actors. This 5 week course begins JUNE 24 with classes scheduled every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 2-4 PM CST.

Students will also be invited to observe our Summer Company of actors and tech crew as they prepare for our summer production of "Wait Until Dark". Participating students also receive one free ticket to "Wait Until Dark".

The summer culminates in a showcase celebrating your actor's new found talents. Class size is limited to 12 students, so reserve your spot early.
