A salon featuring new Dame Stefanie Sacks, Culinary Nutritionist, Author of What the Fork Are You Eating and Founder of Reboot Food.
Stefanie is a professional chef with an MS in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Certified Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist. Why and how she turned to everything edible in the 1980s to navigate illness, both physical and psycho-emotional, is compelling. And understanding her journey will shine light on the inspirational and transformational work that Stefanie is deeply devoted to. It is truly a tale of tragedy to triumph. Food and our connection to it, for better or worse, directly relates to this story.
Noshes that nourish Stefanie-style will be served with organic wine from Long Islands North Fork.
Stefanie will be on hand to sign and sell copies of her book What the Fork Are You Eating.
