SfN Ottawa Brain & Mental Health Art Show
The Brain & Mental Health Art Show is an annually occurring event organized by SfN Ottawa and the Carleton University Graduate Neuroscience society to help link the scientific and the mental health communities in Ottawa. The show further helps raise awareness and funds in support of local mental health charities. The Art Show is organized as a vernissage, or preview, allowing artists and guests to express their own experiences, feelings, and struggles related to the brain and mental health. Each year we present a diverse range of work including sculptures, mixed media, photographs and paintings, created by researchers, students, artists, community members and individuals with mental health issues.
Appetizers will be served and a cash-only bar will also be available. Silent Auction purchases can be paid for via Visa or Interac.
