Magic Potions and Gourmet Larder with Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal
We are very excited that we'll have Mr. Brian Strumke in the house to pair his amazing Stillwater Artisanal beers with a five-course gourmet tasting menu. Brian has already picked the beers (exact pairings TBA), including:
Cellar Door (6.6% Saison brewed with White Sage)
Existent (7.5% Black Saison)
Sensory Series v. 1 - Lower Dens (6% Saison brewed with Hibiscus)
Of Love & Regret (7% Saison brewed with Heather, Chamomile, Lavender, & Dandelion)
Saison Darkly (8% Dark Saison)
Stillwater/Thiriez - French Connection Blonde (7% Blonde Ale with French Hops and Violets)
The menu will have a duck focus, with poultry sourced from Hudson Valley Duck Farm. Courses include:
House-Cured Duck Breast on Toast
Beer Cheddar Duck Prosciutto Soup
Duck Confit with Farro Risotto
Crispy Duck Skin and Wild Dandelion Salad
Duck Fat Crust Apple Tart
