Valley Collegiate Players is proud to present Agatha Christie's classic whodunit THE MOUSETRAP at the LAVC Horseshoe Theater.  Evening performances are Thursday, April 19, Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21 at 7:30.  Our matinees are Saturday and Sunday, April 21 and 22 at 2pm.  Tickets are $15.00 if purchased here on brownpapertickets.com; at the door tickets will cost $20.00

Celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Queen of Crime's long-running, record-breaking mystery sensation, and, at the same time, help the VCP mark their 60th year as an LAVC chartered club!

Here's the plot (no spoilers!): Newlyweds Giles and Mollie Ralston are putting the final touches on preparations to transform their quaint old mansion into a b&b guest house. Monkswell Manor opens its door to an eclectic collection of eccentric guests just as the weather deteriorates and a heavy snow begins to fall. A police detective arrives as roads become impassable and gathers the hosts and guests together to inform them that a killer is on the loose in the vicinity and that everyone in the house is in danger!  And, as is always the case with Agatha Christie, everyone in the house is also a suspect!

The cast includes LAVC students Nachalah Duclerne, Harut Simonian, James Biggs, Cristina Miller, Bill Wallis, Tori Kostic, Daniel Ramirez, and Cameron Kotecki.

The creative staff and production team are all LAVC students.  THE MOUSETRAP is directed by Chase MacLeay, with scenery designed by Antonio Cruz-Ventura, lighting by Brian Vasquez, costumes by Alvyn Lopez, and properties by Carlos Gomez.  The sound designer and technical director is Enver Messano; production stage manager is Alexandra Han.
