Vancouvers The Runaway Four were conceived as a mixtape love-letter to classic video game themes old and new. The four piece synth-rock outfit take an eclectic, all-inclusive approach to crafting tight and clever medleys that will appeal to gamers of all ages and tastes. Each arrangement develops a theme or narrative exploring the history and tropes of well-loved video games, with an immersive live performance incorporating intricate costumes and dazzling synchronized visuals to further engage the audience.

characters got together and formed a band, it would probably sound something
like the Runaway Four.

Originally hails from Vancouver, where her rave obsession took root and flourished into DJ residencies and underground warehouse bookings. These days, though, you are more likely to see her at Ministry of Sound or EGG in London whenever she isn't honing her craft in the studio. After several free releases online, Wet Trax Records signed her debut track a remix for Melleefresh and Boy Pussy's Naughty Girl, a UK inspired Bassline House track. Her shift in focus from DJ to producer has paid dividends as her latest single for East Van Digital attests and as she continues to travels globally moving dance floors from N. America to Europe.

AppleCat:
International Storyteller, beat weaver, poet, and vocalist; AppleCat was raised on the West Coast of Canada, and specializes in Deep Bass, Cosmic Carnal, Dubstep, Trap, World, and IDM. Music and the dance it invokes has been her number one passion since they day she was born.
Poetry and grace, mixed with live mashup, reworking, blending melodic cosmic sound, with carnal deep bass - AppleCat's sets bend the perception of "genre" and plus a little "je ne sais quoi."
