The Victoria Poetry Project presents its second workshop of 2018: Spoken Word with Annie Lepage!
This workshop will focus on both writing and performance; folks with all levels of experience with spoken word poetry are welcome to attend.
Annie is a writer, artist, and internet hat of many names. She has been a finalist at several Vic Slam championships, was a member of the 2014 Vic Slam Team at the national Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, and facilitates poetry and performance workshops with Raising Voices, the Victoria Poetry Project's youth education program. Her upcoming chapbook Anthropolo.gif, an illustrated romp through four years of poetry, studying anthropology, and spending lots of time on Twitter, will be released in March 2018.
15 seats are available for purchase ahead of time and we will be offering limited tickets at the door - guarantee your seat and get your ticket now! 12 of the online tickets are being offered at the regular rate of $10 (+service fees) and the remaining 3 are being offered at the benefactor rate of $20 (+services fees), to subsidize folks who want to attend but can't afford it.
