The 2013 Piglet Tournament of Cookbooks
On February 25th, we'll announce the winner of the Food52 2013 Tournament of Cookbooks at the Highline Loft -- before the official judgment is posted on food52.com the next day. We hope you'll join us!
The MC for the evening is Adam Sachs, contributing editor at Travel + Leisure and Bon Appetit.
10% of general admission ticket sales will go to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City* for Sandy Relief efforts -- or, go the Whole Hog and an extra $5 of your ticket sale will go to the Mayor's Fund! (Also included as part of the ticket prices noted above are raffle tickets to win prizes from Terrain Café, Liddabit Sweets, and OXO!)
Terrain Café will be preparing dishes from the two finalists, which you can wash down with Strongbow hard cider, and signature cocktails by Cup & Compass.
Fermin USA will be carving and serving a whole Iberico ham leg, and additional refreshments will be provided by our friends at:

Liddabit Sweets
The Redhead
Little Flower Café
No need to order the cookbooks in advance -- Posman Books will be selling virtually the entire list of contenders at the party, and some of the authors will be there to sign them.

*The Mayor's Fund is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit and retains no administration fee. One hundred percent of donations go directly to relief efforts and organizations to help New Yorkers in need.
