Class: Make Your Own Bitters

In this one hour class, you will learn how to create your own bitters and go home with a jar of your own original aromatic bitters, recipes, plus a bottle in which to decant your final product after it has aged. We will discuss the historic and therapeutic use of bitters and of each individual ingredient. There will be a wide selection of aromatic ingredients from which to choose for your own bitters creation, and we will guide you through making a well balanced formula. We will also taste different types of bitters and taste cocktails before and after the addition of bitters to fully understand what they bring to a drink.

All supplies will be provided and are included in the price of the class. Tickets are $25 each. Space is limited to 8 participants, and tickets must be purchased in advance. This event is 21+.

About the teacher: Heather C. worked as a professional bartender in San Francisco and has had over 600 hours of formal training in Western Herbalism.
