About
In 1961, Camille Billops chose to give up her 4-year-old daughter for adoption, reasoning that she did not want to be a mother and could not provide the life her child needed. Decades later, the two reconnect, meeting each others families and looking for answers that may not be forthcoming. A true hybrid work, composed of home movie footage, dramatic reenactments, interviews, and even musical performance, Finding Christa formally reflects its subjects ongoing, ever-changing attempts at self-definition in the face of family ties.
