Love in the Middle Ages
LOVE IN THE MIDDLE AGES is a new musical about six very different people living in New York who meet at an adult mixer known as the "Over Forty Single Mingle" featuring an incredible cast of Broadway veterans and amazing talent: Yassmin Alers, Mimi Bessette, Michael Givens, 3-time Emmy winner comedian Dave Konig, Dave Rappaport and Marci Reid.
Book and lyrics by Eric Kornfeld, most known for writing Bette Midler's Vegas extravaganza, THE SHOW GIRL MUST GO ON, also seen on HBO. The composer is Michelangelo Sosnowitz, co-writer of CRAZY HEAD SPACE, and the director and co-writer is Jeffrey Jackson, known as playwright for the musical adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein which ran off-Broadway and starred Tony nominee Hunter Foster. He directed productions of Ragtime, By Jeeves and Check, Please! Love in the Middle Ages combines a contemporary, pop score combined with real life tales and makes for a memorable and uplifting night.
