Event
Greater Tuna
The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this biting satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna, TX -- men, women, children and animals. Tuna is redneck America, and it's as clever as it is entertaining.
The show starts off with radio announcers Thurston Wheelis (Ken Ferguson) and Arles Struvie (Dave Specht) in the news room reading the farm and weather reports, and sharing local news with their listeners on Tuna's only radio station, OKKK. From there, the laughs and the costume changes come quickly as more of Tuna's zany characters show up to share their outrageous opinions on a variety of subjects such as gun control, bigotry, censorship, religion, ducks and UFO's. Get ready to laugh, challenge your stereotypes, and come join in the fun!
Audience members should know that this show is rated PG-13 due to mild language, descriptions of violence, and adult themes.
