PhxFringe - FIRST FRIDAY FRINGE
On May's First Friday, the Phoenix Fringe Festival will present F3, or FirstFridayFringe, with free performances outside and in for three full hours of a party of theatrical proportions.Performances include:
Spectrum (Vessel) - Following in the footsteps of Transfix, an atmospheric theatre performance with an electrifying 10 year history, Spectrum will suprise and delight audiences all over First Friday.
Self-Life (ASU Playwrights on Campus) - Self-Life is a series of short works that explore how we as people and actors - the opposite of people - construct identity. Caution: only attend if you are really sure who you are...
The Second Coming (Trevor Starkey) - The Messiah returns with a bang. Starkey's one-man short performance explores the mindset of a savior asked to die for the sins of mankind...again.
Untitled (HeatherBraie Tysiak) - What is the ideal body and what are we willing to do to achieve it? Tysiak's solo piece cuts like a scalpel and digs deep into issues of self-image and beauty.
Split (Rae Langes) - Less of a strip-tease and more of a strip-provoke, Split examines the lines between masculine and feminine and the roles we all assume in policing those boudaries.
