Canvases Art Auction 2018

Our 7th annual fundraising Art Event, CANVASES ART AUCTION, returns Friday, February 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All proceeds go to our recovery housing program for the newly sober.

The event will again be hosted by our sponsor, the Church Health Center, at Crosstown Concourse, 1350 Concourse Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104.

Both live and silent auctions will be held, offering a chance to bid on amazing paintings, prints and photographs.

Mac Edwards and Brooks Pharm2Fork will provide artful hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and sparkling beverages.

Since 2008 MSSL has provided safe, sober and affordable housing to individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders (SUDs). The organization operates three facilities that offer drug- and alcohol-free housing for up to 45 men and women for a nominal rent.

Many volunteers, staff, and board members are in recovery or have a family member in recovery. We understand that "turning your life around" and reducing the rate of relapse is a process. Each facility has an on-site manager offering their own experience and hope to residents, who support each other and share common goals.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations to MSSL are tax deductible.

The community is invited to an evening of viewing magnificent art, mingling with artists, enjoying food and drink, and participating in a lively auction.
