Camamara: Celtic World Music Trio
Canamara Celtic World Music Group is one of the new up and coming Traditional Celtic bands combining the traditional and contemporary styling of bands like Dervish and Altan, integrating the powerful driven jigs and reels on guitar, fiddle, Irish flute/whistle, concertina and the Uilleann Pipes. With Chris Waltz on lead vocals, guitars, Irish flute/whistle, Shelly Crouse-Monarez on fiddle, cello and vocals and the bands newest member Autumn Rhodes (who'll be sitting in for the first time) on Irish flute/whistle, concertina, vocals and the Irish Uilleann pipes. Canamara performs an eclectic blend of original and Traditional Irish/Scottish, Manx-Gaelic, Sephardic and Spanish folk/Flamenco music featuring songs sung in Irish and Manx Gaelic, Ladino, Spanish and English.
