Event
Wine School Dinner
For almost four years, Burke Hospitality Groups president, Tom Sasser, wine buyer and restaurant manager, Walter Freeman, and local wine consultant, George Erdle, took on a spirited endeavor to learn more about wine through Eric Asimovs Wine School which is published monthly in The New York Times. Asimovs column profiles a new varietal each month and invites readers to drink and share their thoughts by answering a few select questions. On Wednesday, February 28, Mimosa Grill will present the culmination of these Wine School tastings in a wine event called Perfect Pairings. Executive Chef Thomas Marlow will feature the very best of the groups wine and food discoveries with a five course dinner menu. Eric Asimov, who will be traveling to the Charleston Food & Wine event around this time, has agreed to stop by Charlotte for the event and meet and greet guests while offering his own insight into each of the wines.
