WINNER OF THE PULITZER PRIZE 1978

Ever since its New York opening in 1977, this play has attracted extraordinary actors. First, Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy made the play their own. In the 1990s, Charles Durning and Julie Harris picked up the deck. And just last year, James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson played the game on Broadway. Our NMAL production will star Santa Fe favorites Suzanne Lederer (DRIVING MISS DAISY, THE GLASS MENAGERIE) and Jonathan Richards (SYLVIA, PROOF, ART, and HEISENBERG). This thoroughly entertaining Pulitzer Prize winner has become an endearing American classic.
