Daniel Boling in concert/Live album recording - 2:30 matinee performance
On March 10, 2018, internationally touring balladeer/songwriter C. Daniel Boling will record a live solo album with an audience of friends and fans at The Kitchen Sink.
This is Daniels eighth album and his third collaboration with friend and Producer Jono Manson. The album will be drawn from two in-studio concerts, a 2:30 pm matinee and a 7:30 pm evening show, featuring new songs Daniel has never recorded along with favorites from his catalog. 100% of the proceeds from these shows are going to the artist to help fund the recording, post-production and manufacture of the album. Your participation and interaction will be an essential part of the recording, and each guest who donates $20 or more will receive a signed copy of the finished album before they are available to the public. Daniel fit his music in around the edges of a thirty-year career all over the western U.S., first as a National Park Ranger and then a Criminal Investigator for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. When he turned fifty Daniel hung up his badge and guns and took to the road full-time, playing festivals, listening rooms and intimate house concerts throughout the U.S. and in Europe. His songs have received a variety of awards including: New Mexico Music Awards Folk Song of the Year; Kerrville New Folk Winner; Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Songwriter Winner; Walnut Valley Acoustic Music Festival three-time Songwriter Winner; Santa Fe Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival Songwriter Winner; and more.
Now ten years after starting his full-time music career, Daniel and Jono are excited to capture the magic that can only happen when an audience and an artist collaborate to create a joyous celebration of life through songs and stories shared.
