A Concert for the Feasts of the Lady featuring Issac's Missa Virgo Prudentissima
Join San Francisco Renaissance Voices (Katherine McKee, Music Director) for "AVE VIRGO - Music for the Feasts of Our Lady." This exquisite concert of rarely performed music will feature Heinrich Isaac's (c1450-1517) Missa Virgo Prudentissima, and motets in praise of the Virgin Mary, including selections from the Medici Codex of 1518, a collection dedicated to Lorenzo, Duke of Urbino as a special gift on his birthday.
