WCLN Campaign 101
Join WCLN for a workshop for women on the basics of running a campaign for elected office. Whether you are considering a future run for city, school board, county or special districts, or are planning to work on a local campaign, this workshop is an introduction to what it's like and what to consider.
Learn from local elected officials and experts on topics such as:
- Developing a campaign message
- Filing papers
- Establishing a campaign committee
- Fundraising
- Working with the media
- Voter-targeting
- Getting endorsements
Light breakfast and lunch included.
$20 to attend. Advanced registration required. Limited seating.
