Piroshki Class at Heyday Farm House

February 8th, Heyday Farm House is offering an evening of culinary inspiration, interactive cooking demonstration and libations... We are having a piroshki party!

Piroshki, (also spelled Pirozhki) is a pie-like bun, usually baked, made from yeast leavened dough and originating from Russia. This versatile dough can be made either savory or sweet, and wrapped around just about any of your favorite ingredients. This hands-on class will teach you the basics of laminated dough, fillings, and how to shape the piroshki.

Guided by two of our chefs, you will make a short rib and caramelized onion piroshki with sauerkraut and goat cheese, and a sweet potato and mushroom piroshki with garlic and leeks.

Cost: $75.00 per person, including gratuity. This hands-on experience commences with celebratory bubbles and an opening bite upon arrival. After the demonstration, you will shape and bake a piroshki of your own. Following will be a piroshki feast and you will take your creation home with you! Additional beer and wine are available for purchase. All tickets are non refundable however they are transferable. In the event of a cancellation full purchase price shall be refunded.
