Walking with Women's Suffrage in Margate
Join composer Lillian Henley and author Sonia Overall for a walk revisiting the suffragettes in Margate. Beforehand visit the Margate Museums exhibition on Pioneers, Suffragettes and the First Ladies of Margate, which is being curated for POW! by East Kent College.
There will be the chance to view the exhibition at 3pm, with the walk starting at 3.30pm and finishing at the Old Kent Market at 5pm where there will be the opportunity to create placards to take to POW!'s opening event.
