2018 Tampa Roller Derby Summer Camp
Do you want to learn how to skate and play roller derby from the best in Tampa? Are you ready to be a strong and confident leader? Are you between the age of 7 and 14? We are excited to invite you to Tampa Roller Derbys FIRST summer day camp!
For 5 days, we will cover the basic of skating and playing the sport of flat track roller derby. You do not need to be a proficient skater to be successful at this camp. We have limited equipment to borrow, so it is recommended to provide your own skates, kneepads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and helmet. You must have a mouth guard; if you cannot provide one yourself, you can purchase them for $3. Our first activity will be learning how to mold your mouth guard!
June 25 June 29 AND July 9 - July 13; 9am 3pm every day.
Each day will feature morning and afternoon skate sessions. We will also have interactive off-skates activities and games, and will provide an
afternoon snack each day. Well have an hour break for lunch, but campers must bring their own.
The week will end in an hour long Show us what you got scrimmage for parents to attend.
Space is limited to 25 skaters per session so buy your tickets early!
Tickets are not refundable, non-transferable. However, if there is not enough interest in the session, TRD reserves the right to cancel the session and refund all monies.
