Rug Hooking
Rug hooking has often been referred to as the only authentic American craft. During this one-day workshop, learn the basic techniques and several ways to finish a piece. You will also learn to transfer a design and how to prepare and cut wool strips. While you work on your project, instructor Mary Lynne Naples will lecture on topics related to rug hooking.
About the instructor:
Mary Lynne Naples has been hooking since 2001 when she retired from a 30-year teaching career. She is a member of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists, having served as a regional representative. She enjoys demonstrating at local events, speaking about rug hooking for community groups, and teaching beginners. She is a member of the Woolwrights ATHA chapter and the Brandywine Rug Hooking Guild.
Cancellation policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor, therefore cancellations can only be refunded prior to the sales-end date.
