Intro to Herbalism
In this two-hour intro class, you will learn
- basic philosophies of western herbalism - safety - forms, dosage and frequency - the four qualities (hot, cold, damp, dry) - common western herbs and their uses - where to find good information Learning this type of foundational knowledge will help you get better success with herbs, and use them with more intention and awareness. If you've ever been frustrated with books telling you that an herb is "good for headaches," then this class might help you get beyond such oversimplification and begin to understand the complexities of our bodies.
Bring a notebook, come with questions, and be ready to learn. Natalie is a fast-paced teacher, and she likes to cover as much as possible in the time.
