Rejoice School of Ballet presents: "Saam Psalms: Together Songs," an original ballet exploring the history of slavery, racism and civil rights in America.
The show, created by Rejoice Founding Executive Director Patricia Cross and Nashville Ballet company dancer and Rejoice faculty member Gerald Watson will invite audience members to consider the history and story of African Americans.
Rejoice pre-professional dancers, a diverse group of students ages 8-17, will present the show in the three acts: Resilience, Resistance and Restoration.
