From the author of the 2017 ATAC Award-Winning drama, Jackson Square, comes a 1940s detective noir / historical fiction about the man who wrote the screenplays for The Maltese Falcon and The Thin Man, as well as numerous hard-boiled detective novels.

Leonard leverages the Film Noir Detective archetypes and tough dialogue Hammett made famous with actual quotes from the public domain notorious House Un-american Activities Committee hearings to create a suspenseful crime drama blend of fact and fiction.
