Come see local artist Marli paint semi-nude (social media friendly!) model Hardy Brooklyn into a full-scale print of "Composition With Blue" by Piet Mondrian to create new and exciting art. You'll be able to photograph the whole project and the finished artwork. You will be coached and guided on techniques for getting the best shot with professional lighting and other photographers shooting the same model.
There will be experienced photographers on hand to help guide and give tips to each other to get their most compelling shots. Each photographer who comes gets unlimited non-commercial use of all the pictures they take of the models and the artist at the event, so you'll be able to share your photos on social media. (Please contact us directly for commercial use options.) You'll also be able to take home one high-quality print up to 11x17" of your best photo (list price $35) -- included in the $30 ticket price!
Solas Studio is Manhattan's only 24-hour boutique photo production studio, conveniently located just steps from Herald Square and Penn Station.
Like any good struggling artist party, complimentary wine, beer, and light snacks will be served.
