Five Points of Architectural Education
Join AIA Columbus at our first Design Lecture of the year. This talk will introduce aspects of Knowlton School of Architectures newly appointed section head, Todd Gannons, AIA, teaching philosophy. He will offer guidelines for conceiving and executing original, relevant and politically engaged architectural projects that will guide students through the future of architecture. Some topics that will be covered are how to avoid clichés, develop new vocabularies, enfranchise new constituencies and more. These topics will pay close attention to the relationships between aesthetics and politics between the profession and the discipline of architecture.
