KITTY KITTY KITTY by Noah Haidle
In an attempt to cure loneliness, a mad scientist clones his pet cat, Kitty, whom he loves very much. But, when Kitty falls in love with the clone, Kitty Kitty, and they become intimate, the scientist realizes his cure has failed. In an outrage, the "imperfect" Kitty Kitty is given to Mr and Mrs Person, who will love him to death if they can. Heartbreak ensues. Kitty is depressed without Kitty Kitty and goes to all lengths to find the one thing that is worth living for.
What Kitty finds is a harsh reality; Love hurts, life ends and a hand-job isn't the same with just any cat.
