A CHRISTMAS CAROL: A 30 Year Tradition
In 2013, Andrew Neisler (director), Andrew Farmer and Ryann Weir (writer/performers) committed to the 30 year long project of telling Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol through the eyes of a fictional couple.
Return each year as they grow older, navigate the obstacles and triumphs of life, and reconnect each holiday season by reading the classic novella together. In the spirit of Elevator Repair Service's Gatz with the nostalgic, improvisational feel of Mike Nichols and Elaine May, the play celebrates the Dickens text in conjunction with the lives of this young couple.
Run-time of the performance is typically 100 minutes.
Now in its FIFTH YEAR, join us as things are changing. People are moving. Unpack some boxes with us and make this house a home as we check in with the couple to see what's new.
