Jamie Campbell's Last Birthday
Jamie Campbell isnt planning on dying anytime soon, but in a world full of turmoil and uncertainty, he has decided to treat this birthday like its going to be his last, and is celebrating by putting together a powerhouse show filled with a selection of Kansas Citys stand-out comedic performers.
Jamie Campbell is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, storyteller, actor, and writer. Since moving to KC a year ago, he has taken the citys comedy scene by storm. His solo show, The Devil on the Wall, was the surprise hit of the KC Fringe Festival, earning Best of Fringe honors. He regularly performs with The KC Improv Company and ComedyCity, and headlines venues throughout the United States as a stand-up and storyteller. He has been seen on television in numerous commercials, and has appeared on NBCs Chicago Fire and PopTVs Hollywood Darlings. His debut album, Tell Me Youre Proud of Me, debuted at #1 on Amazons comedy charts. He has shared the stage or worked on projects with countless legendary names in comedy and entertainment, including Hannibal Buress, Cameron Esposito, Oscar Isaac, TJ Miller, Scott Adsit, Ty Burrell, Jake The Snake Roberts, Alicia Keys, and Dana Carvey.
The shows specially-selected guests include improv showstoppers Ham Kitty (named Kansas Citys Best Improv/Sketch Troupe by The Pitch), stand-up comedian Brandon Patrick (The Improv, The DL Hughley Show), and musical comedy from Ryan Hruza, who was recently seen in MTKCs production of Avenue Q. The evening will be hosted by Michael Foster (The KC Improv Company).
The show, which takes place at The Buffalo Room inside the Westport Flea Market (817 Westport Road), will feature performances from guest groups and will culminate with Jamie Campbells full touring headlining set. Tickets are just $10
