Meet a Muslim at Kedai Makan
Moina Shaiq created Meet a Muslim in response to the San Bernadino shootings. Her concept is to introduce the world of Islam to curious folks who want to know more and have no idea how. Moina will introduce herself and then simply opens it up to questions so those attending can ask her anything. She says she will not be offended as her goal is to answer questions and dispel fear by doing so.
The program begins at 7pm with folks getting seated and settled in with tea and appetizers generously donated by the owners at Kedai Makan.
At 7:30, Moina will begin to share her story for about 10 minutes. Then she opens it up to questions. The event is over at 9pm
This is a wonderful opportunity to broaden one's awareness of the Muslim religion and to enjoy some fantastic snacks at the well known Kedai Makan.
