Allan Frias presents UNTAMED, a hip-hop dance show featuring Mind Over Matter.

Taking the traveling freak show as a metaphor, UNTAMED will explore what it means to be different (aka a freak - in all senses of the word) and how everything is not always as it seems.

Allan Frias is the choreographer and artistic director of Mind Over Matter. He is able to fuse his groundbreaking hip-hop choreography with theater, live music, and creative mixes, which has become a signature part of his work. Mind OVer Matter has a reputation in the Bay Area for defining the terms of how hip-hop dance is understood and also uses modern and classical forms of dance to push the boundaries of hip-hop genres.
