Steve Smith & Vital Information NYC Edition
Drummer Steve Smiths Vital Information is now in their 35th year of touring since their 1983 debut and its current formation, Steve Smith & Vital Information NYC Edition, brings together members from all Smiths bands: Vinny Valentino (Vital Information), Mark Soskin (Jazz Legacy and Buddys Buddies) and Baron Browne (Jazz Legacy, Buddys Buddies and Vital Information). A legendary drummer, Smith has won Modern Drummers readers poll for #1 All-Around Drummer for five years in a row and has been voted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame. In 2017 Smith has inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for his work with classic rock icons Journey. Vital Information NYC Editions latest album is 2017s Heart of the City.
