Rathna Kumar and Venugopal Josyula will take you on a cultural journey, performing classical and folk dances from different regions of South India, highlighting the colorful, vibrant and rich artistic heritage of the country, the fast footwork, the hand gestures that tell stories, and the distinctive body movements that identify the different dances. Rathna will explain the dances prior to the performance and members of the audience will get first hand opportunity to try out some of the hand gestures.
