| | EventBehind-the-Scenes Tour: 100 Years of Connecticut FashionWhether it is a yellow silk dress worn to Lincoln's inaugural ball, or a psychedelic maxi dress from the 1960s, our costume collection tells the story of women's fashion in Connecticut. See wedding dresses, corsets, and more that tell the stories of what women wore and how they lived.
Visit storage and collection areas not normally open to the public, and learn how the CHS preserves the stories of Connecticut. Tours last approximately 1 hour and are appropriate for ages 12 and up. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Questions? Call (860) 236-5621x289 or email natalie_belanger@chs.org.
