San Benito Stage Company Masters Class
The mission of SBSC Theatre Camp is to incorporate singing, dancing, and acting skills to help campers develop confidence, curiosity, and imagination.
Master Class is open to any camper aged 10-14 (8th grade age), that has been in at least 2 SBSC shows in the past 2 years. Master Class can accommodate up to 20 campers on a first come basis. We will be performing 2 One Act plays on Saturday June 23rd.
Master Class will begin each day at 10:00 am. Parents can drop their camper off between 9:45am and 10:00am with their Master Class Directors. Parents must sign in and sign out their camper each and everyday.
Campers need to bring each day.
Lunch: please no fast food. Late lunches can be dropped off at the office.
SBSC Theatre Camp Water Bottle with water. (Areas to refill water will be available throughout the camp.)
Campers will also need to wear their SBSC Theatre Camp shirt each day.
Master Class participants will be leaving camp on certain days to head to the Granada Theatre for practice. (Campers will be walking with their directors and adults chaperones to and from the location on these days)
Camp will finish each day at 4:00pm inside the Master Class Room at Sacred Heart.
We ask that campers leave any electronic devices at home. (Cell phones are okay as long as they are not out.)
On Thursday of camp we will be having an Ohana Ice Social in the courtyard. This is included in your registration fee.
Master Class is an awesome opportunity for actors to get to experience what it is like to take part in a show in an accelerated amount of time. Actors will audition, be cast, memorize lines, build sets, learn blocking, and put on the performance.
This year we will be putting on 2 One Act Plays and your camper will be cast in one of them.
Here are the important dates:
AUDITIONS: Saturday June 16th,
9am-2pm @ Granada Theater.
(Please bring a lunch)
REHEARSALS: Monday June 18th- Friday June 22nd (10am-4pm at Sacred Heart/Granada Theater)
FINAL REHEARSAL: Saturday June 23rd
@ Granada Theater
(Act 1: 9am-11am, Act 2: 12pm-2pm)
PERFORMANCE: Saturday June 23rd
@ Granada Theater 7pm
CALL TIME FOR ACTORS: 5pm
