WAR Flowers - A Touring Art Exhibition

During the First World War, Canadian soldier George Stephen Cantlie plucked flowers from the fields and gardens of war-torn Europe and sent them home to his baby daughter Celia in Montréal.

One hundred years later, his touching ritual has provided the inspiration for an innovative multi-sensory exhibit, hosted at Campbell House Museum from January 24 to March 16, 2018.

WAR Flowers A Touring Art Exhibition examines human nature in wartime through artistic representations that combine Cantlie's letters and pressed flowers with original scents, crystal sculptures and portraits of 10 Canadians directly involved in the First World War.

During the run of WAR Flowers, Campbell House Museum will be open Mon-Fri, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Sat/Sun, 12 to 4:30 pm.

The exhibition is included in the $10 admission charge to the museum.

Admissions are for one-hour periods. Simply select your date and then CHOOSE YOUR HOUR OF ADMISSION FROM THE LIST on the right-hand side for individual admissions.
