Join the Sonoma County Public Library Foundation on a private tour of the picturesque 100-acre property in the Alexander Valley featuring 18 remarkable site-specific installations by artists, including: Andy Goldsworthy, Ann Hamilton, Bruce Nauman, Martin Puryear and Richard Serra. The tour is 2.5 hours long and covers approximately 2.5 miles of the property with 600 feet of elevation change and various terrain. Tour price is $125 per person.
Lunch and wine tasting at Geyser Peak Winery in Geyserville after the tour is available for an additional $50 per person.
A very limited number of tickets are available. This is a rain or shine event. Comfortable walking shoes are required. All proceeds benefit the Sonoma County Public Library Foundation.
We will meet at the Geyserville Park & Ride at 9:30am and be bused to Oliver Ranch. The Park & Ride is located at Hwy.128/Remmel Rd. one block east of Geyserville Ave. next to the railroad tracks. After returning from the tour, lunch participants will meet at Geyser Peak Winery located at 22281 Chianti Road in Geyserville. A box lunch will be served on the winery's stone patio offering expansive views across the Alexander Valley to Oliver Ranch and many of the art installations.
